10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co.’s (solutions) shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation to pay a cash dividend at 40% of capital, or SAR 4 a share, for 2021.

 

2) Almunajem Foods Co. said that the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) imposed a temporary suspension on one of its poultry product categories imported from a country that has reported bird flu cases.

 

3) Batic Investments and Logistics Co.’s subsidiary, Batic Real Estate Co., acquired a land in Madinah for SAR 126.39 million, excluding tax and commission.

 

4) Southern Province Cement Co.’s (SPCC) board of directors decided to start construction on a production line with a capacity of 5,000 tons per day (tpd), and develop the infrastructure for another line with a production capacity of 5,000 tpd.

 

5) East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry signed a contract worth SAR 490 million, including value-added tax (VAT), with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation.

 

6) E.A. Juffali and Brothers, a substantial shareholder in Wataniya Insurance Co., purchased 1.450 million additional shares, or 3.63% of the company's capital.

 

7) Gulf Union Alahlia Cooperative Insurance Co. announced the results of rump offering and the final allocation of its rights issue shares, as the coverage ratio hit 100%.

 

8) Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) announced that the license to use the 3.5GHz spectrum band frequency will be canceled if the company fails to fulfill its obligations.

 

9) Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co.  announced that it was awarded a comprehensive insurance services contract by Al Wefaq Transportation Solutions for its vehicle fleet.

 

10) Brent crude gained 1.19% to reach $123.12 per barrel. WTI crude added 3.01% to reach $118.53/bbl.
