Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy invited the public to send their suggestions and feedback on the draft standards for prequalifying establishments for the management, operation and maintenance of fuel and service stations. Suggestions and observations can be provided via the Public Consultation Platform “istitlaa”.

Certain standards will be required for applicants to get the qualification certificate to practice the business of fuel and service stations management, the ministry said in a statement.

Moreover, four technical standards were determined with respect to safety and health, operation and maintenance, environment and sustainability, and customer service.

Owners of establishments are required to submit the documents, which prove the application of these standards, the ministry added.
