Saudi imports from GCC hit SAR 6.26 bln in March; UAE accounts for 61%

Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries rose 1% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.26 billion in March, according to a recent report by General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). 

 

The UAE accounted for 61%, or SAR 3.82 billion of total Saudi imports, falling 23% YoY. 

 

Compared with February, the Kingdom’s imports from GCC grew by 9%, or SAR 534.1 million.
