Saudi Arabia ranked second after China on the list of the fastest-growing countries in the logistics sector, Al Riyadh newspaper reported, citing Loay Mashabi, Deputy Minister for Logistics Services.
During a meeting between the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and investors at Asharqia Chamber, Mashabi said the Kingdom preceded the US and Europe, thanks to its government projects and economic movement, especially after it focused on transit trade.
“We aspire to be among the top 10 countries in the Logistics Performance Index,” Mashabi said.
