A total of 523,800 nationals joined the Saudi labor market as a result of Saudization agreements or decisions, comprising 67.63% of the 774,500 citizens who entered the market in 2021, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s (HRSD) announced in its annual report for 2021.
The number of the newcomers reached 218,700, representing approximately 41.74% of 523,800 nationals. Meanwhile, about 305,100 of them are returning to the labor market, the ministry added, noting that they are divided as follows:
