Saudi Arabia eyes 12 mln visits in 2022: Minister

Saudi Arabia targets 12 million visits this year, compared to four million in 2021, France Press reported, citing Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb.

 

Replying to a question about the target 100 million visitors by 2030, Al Khateeb said 30 million tourists are expected to arrive at the Kingdom abroad, while passengers inside the Kingdom will represent the remainder.
 

The Kingdom eyes 30 million visits from religious trips by Saudis and foreigners to Makkah and Madinah, Al Khateeb added.
