Shareholders of National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) appointed Ernst & Young as external auditor, during the ordinary general assembly meeting held on June 7.

The auditor will review the company’s financial statements for Q2, Q3, 2022, and the first quarters of 2023 and 2024, NADEC said in a bourse filing.

They also approved the board and auditor's reports, as well as the financial statements for 2021.

The board of directors was absolved of liability for the same period.

Moreover, the contracts and transactions concluded between the company and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co., Takween Advanced Industries Co., AlKifah Holding Co., and Al-Watania Poultry Co. were endorsed.

The shareholders also approved delegating the board with the general assembly powers for one year from the OGM approval date or until the end of the board term, whichever comes earlier, NADEC added.
