HRSD Ministry targets 90% localization of private education jobs for girls, 60% for boys: Official

An official at the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (HRSD), Eastern Province branch, said the localization of jobs in the private education sector includes all registered private schools.

The target localization rate of education jobs in private schools stands at 90% for girls, 60% for boys and 80% for boys and girls in international schools, Alriyadh newspaper reported.

Meanwhile, the localization of occupational health and safety jobs includes giant, large and medium enterprises, which employ a minimum of 50 workers in all business activities.

Owners of private and international schools in the Easter Province called on the competent authorities in the private and international education sector to facilitate investment measures in the sector. They cited the shutdown of 50% or 60% of private schools, as they fail to meet localization requirements.
