Non-institutional foreign investors reduced their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities excluding Saudi Aramco to 10.14%, or SAR 320.9 billion, in the week ended June 9, compared to 10.15% in the week before, market data showed.
The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).
GCC investors' ownership in the Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, stabilized at 1.77% of total market cap, or SAR 56.1 billion week-on-week (WoW).
Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, but excluding Saudi Aramco, inched down to 12.08%, or SAR 382.2 billion, from 12.11%, for the week.
Meanwhile, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.94%, or SAR 61.3 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the same week.
