Alba comments on Saudi listing report, says company statements based only on facts

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) takes its disclosure obligations “very seriously”, as such its statements will be based on well-established facts and not on speculations and assumptions from third parties, the company said in a bourse filling in Bahrain today, June 14.

 

The statement came in response to Bloomberg’s report that the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund was considering listing the company on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

 

Alba looks at different initiatives and evaluates them as part of its overall business strategy, the statement added.
