Saudi Arabia's National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) issued rulings on some criminal issues, said an official source.  

 

A first-instance ruling was issued against a former Shura Council member after being accused of participating in bribery.

 

He was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison and ordered to pay a penalty of SAR 500,000. A judgment of imprisonment for two years and six months was issued against six citizens for participating in the crime. They were ordered also to pay a penalty of SAR 100,000 each.
 

A ruling was issued against the president of an execution court for position abuse, and was sentenced to one year in prison.
 

A judgment was issued against a retired officer, two non-commissioned officers and an employee of the sixth rank who were previously working in a military attaché office outside the Kingdom, after being accused of forgery, use of forged documents and position abuse. They were sentenced to one year in prison and ordered to pay a penalty of SAR 20,000 each.
 

A judgment of imprisonment for four years and four months was issued against a former judge, after being charged with position abuse.
