HRSD ministry records SAR 34.7 bln revenue in 2021

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) stated that it recorded revenue of nearly SAR 34.71 billion in 2021.

 

Revenue from fees of workers in excess of Saudization rate amounted to about SAR 20 billion (SAR 600 monthly for each worker). Meanwhile, revenue from fees of expat workers reached SAR 6.86 billion (SAR 700 monthly for each worker).

 

Returns from fees of workers in excess of Saudization rate recorded by Human Resources Development Fund reached SAR 6.64 billion (SAR 200 per month). Meanwhile, returns from work permits totaled SAR 554.6 million (SAR 100 annually) and entry visas for temporary work hit SAR 41.8 million (SAR 1,000 annually).

 

Revenue from violations of the Private Sector Labor Law amounted to around SAR 581 million, and revenue from Nitaqat Program totaled nearly SAR 38.2 million.

 

The ministry clarified that revenue from fees of workers in excess of Saudization rate, fees of expat workers, work permit fees, and temporary entry visas were transferred to a current account related to the Ministry of Finance at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), at a total value of SAR 27.5 billion.
