Almarai targets SAR 1.4 bln sales from Egyptian market next year: CEO

Almarai Co.’s sales from the Egyptian market are expected to reach about EGP 7 billion (SAR 1.4 billion) in 2023, CEO Abdullah Albader told Al Ekhbariya Channel.

 

The company serves the Egyptian market through its existing factories in the country, including 26 production lines and more than 100,000 outlets.

 

Abdullah Albader stated that Almarai considers the Egyptian market one of the most strategic markets, looking forward to future opportunities there, through which it expands its investments.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, the company logged sales of SAR 1.26 billion in 2021 from the Egyptian market, representing about 8.23% of Almarai total sales during 2021.
