Arab Sea sees active trading on 17.8 mln shares, traded volume exceeds capital

Shares of Arab Sea Information Systems Co. leapt 5% to close today’s session at SAR 74.80.

 

The stock saw active trading on nearly 17.8 million shares at a total value of more than SAR 1.3 billion. This is the stock’s highest traded volume since listing, exceeding the company’s capital of 10 million shares.

 

Arab Sea declined by its minimum daily limit in eight straight sessions.

 

Arab Sea is a Saudi joint-stock company operating with capital of SAR 100 million, divided into 10 million shares. The company started its business activities in 1980.

 

The company was listed on Nomu Parallel Market on Feb. 26, 2017, at SAR 11 a share.

 

In 2020, Arab Sea moved to the main market with the last trading price in Nomu at SAR 25.55 per share.

 

The firm operates, develops, installs and maintains computer software and networks.
