Saudi imports from GCC region hit SAR 6.55 bln in April; UAE accounts for 54%

Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries rose 7% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.55 billion in April, according to a recent report by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

 

UAE accounted for 54%, or SAR 3.54 billion, of total Saudi imports, falling 23% YoY.

 

Compared with the previous month, the Kingdom’s imports from GCC surged 4%, or SAR 279.7 million.
