Saudi Fisheries names Awwad Aldasouqi acting CEO as Waleed Al-Bat’he steps down

Saudi Fisheries Co.’s board of directors approved, on June 29, the resignation of CEO Waleed Al-Bat’he on personal circumstances, effective from July 1, according to a bourse statement.

 

The board also gave the green light for appointing CFO Awwad Aldasouqi as acting CEO, starting from the same date and until further notice.

 

Aldasouqi earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Al-Ahliyya Amman University in 2000. He has diverse qualifications and experience in several fields and has more than 20 years of experience in agricultural companies such as National Poultry, Delmonte Fresh, Astra Food, ARASCO, where he held top leadership and administrative positions.

 

Al-Bat'he was appointed as the company’s CEO in May 2019, according to data available with Argaam.
