Saudi GAC convicts 35 entities complicit in gov’t competitions

Saudi General Authority for Competition (GAC) convicted 35 companies on complicity in government competitions on projects related to various economic activities, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

GAC was informed that these entities were involved in government tenders for more than SAR 1 billion worth of projects related to a number of economic activities. The authority inspected the practices of more than 150 trade enterprises to check for validity of the news.

 

GAC seeks to continuously ensure fair competition and provide all the legal guarantees for local establishments via pursuing certain inspection measures.
