Al Alamiya says 2 board members resign

Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors announced that Paul Grigg and Jonathan Cope, non-executive members, tendered their resignations on July 6 with immediate effect, according to a bourse filing.

 

The resignations were submitted due to the completion of the sale of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group's shares in the Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (RSA) Middle East to National Life & General Insurance Co. SAOG (NLGIC). Both members represented the Royal & Sun Alliance Group on Al Alamiya’s board.

 

Grigg and Cope joined Al Alamiya’s board of directors on Nov. 16, 2021.
