G20 should support distribution of fertilizers to farmers, says Al-Jadaan

G20 members should support the distribution of fertilizers to farmers and strengthen communication between producers and users, Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan told the 2022 G20 Infrastructure Investors Dialogue.

The event discussed the extent of benefiting from the private sector’s participation in the sustainable infrastructure investments, as well as the valuation of recovery from the COVID-19 crisis and the progress made to develop the sustainable infrastructure.

Al-Jadaan added that the Kingdom is working intensively to develop a business environment that ensures the commercial visibility of sustainable infrastructure projects to attract private investments.

Further, the minister indicated that Saudi Arabia believes that it is closer to helping identify better and more sustainable solutions that meet investor expectations and achieve potential synergies between stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

This, accordingly, helps build confidence and effective partnership between the two sectors and lead to strong structuring of sustainable infrastructure, investment opportunities and an improved infrastructure environment, Al-Jadaan concluded.
