CITC signs MoU with IBM to qualify 100,000 Saudi males, females

The Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IBM to qualify 100,000 young males and females over the next five years.

 

The MoU was signed on the sidelines of US President, Joe Biden’s visit to the Kingdom.

 

IBM will offer various programs to train and upskill national efficiencies in several IT fields to enhance the digital abilities to 100,000 nationals.

 

Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives will be implemented under the MoU for cybersecurity. Innovation accelerators, IBM cloud and an open IT center.

 

Over the next five years, 100 workshops will be organized with government entities using the ’Design Thinking” methodology and 600 public sector employees will be trained in the target accelerator.
