The Kingdom’s transformation program has been launched to boost the diversity of the Kingdom’s economy and to establish a vital and a vibrant society.
It aims at developing the overall health system, upgrading quality of provided care and services, restructuring the health sector, and enhancing its capabilities and position as an integrated and active sector that considers all community members a top priority. The program also aims at developing a national strategy for the health sector, in participation with all relevant parties in the field, in addition to adopting a detailed and an expanded plan that includes all health parties in the Kingdom.
Major companies and institutions operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have taken substantial strides in developing their capabilities at all levels. They have worked on developing multiple health projects in the various regions, keeping pace with the technological development in the health field, and furnishing their facilities with modern medical equipment, which made these companies one of the most important ones on a global level.
Despite the public sector being developed and progressed, the health system in the Kingdom does not overlook the effective strategic role of the private sector in this field, which provides advanced and specialized medical services.
