Saudi Cable to hold shareholders meeting tomorrow to discuss board’s capital cut proposal

Saudi Cable Co. will hold an electronic voting tomorrow, July 18, to discuss the board of directors’ proposal to reduce the company’s capital, according to a bourse filing today, July 17.

 

The meeting will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm, during which the company’s Chairman and board members will clarify shareholders’ queries.

 

Shareholders registered with the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) at the end of the trading session preceding the meeting are entitled to attend the meeting.

 

The company’s shareholders will vote on reducing capital by 74.6% to SAR 66.73 million from SAR 262.31 million during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM), planned on July 20, to restructure the firm’s capital and write off accumulated losses.
