Shares of Mouwasat Medical Services Co. hit their highest level since listing at SAR 255.60 each, today, July 27.

 

The stock closed 0.5% lower at SAR 247.60 amid trading of nearly 166,000 shares through 1,648 transactions. 

 

The firm was established in 1974 and listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in 2009. Mouwasat operates hospitals and medical clinics, which are owned by the company, rented or for a percentage of profits.

 

The first comprehensive medical facility was established under the name, “Mouwasat Hospital”, in Dammam in 1984, with operations starting in 1988.

 

On Sept. 2, 2009, Mouwasat was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) at SAR 44 (before adjustment) or SAR 11 (after adjustment).
