Idle Lands Program issues 9,500 invoices for over 550 mln sqm

The Idle Lands Program has so far issued 9,500 invoices since the program’s launch for a total land area of over 550 million square meters (sqm), Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Chairman Abdul-Hamid Al-Hammad.

These land plots are located in Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Makkah, Jazan, Asir, Taif, Tabuk, Al-Ahsa and Madinah.

Al-Hammad indicated that the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing was able to register and invoke lands with an area of more than 25 million sqm, as part of the program’s second phase.
