Al Sagr shareholders elect 5 new board members

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shareholders elected board members for five vacant seats during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on Aug. 29, according to a bourse filing.

 

The elected board members are Abdullah Suleiman Al Hindi, Yasser Mohammed Alharbi, Fahad Talal Kurdi, Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Jibreen, and, Saud Al-Arifi.

 

The members were elected for the term ending on June 15, 2023, the company added.

 

Al Sagr announced the resignation of three board members as of April 12, 2022, for their non-cooperation of the board members representing the main shareholder, and the fact that they hindered the implementation of the board decisions, Argaam reported.

 

On April 13, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Turki, as resigned due to deliberately disrupting and harming the company’s interests by the board members of the strategic partner.
