Launch of RER to limit real estate disputes: Minister

Majid Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing said that the launch of the Public Investment Fund's (PIF) National Real Estate Registration Services Co. (RER) is a qualitative leap that will reflect positively on reinforcing reliability and transparency in real estate ownerships, as well as limit real estate disputes.

In a tweet, the minister explained that this will be achieved through building a real estate registry, in cooperation with the Real Estate General Authority, which gives absolute authenticity and includes a record for each property.

PIF announced today the launch of RER, which aims to contribute to the digitization and development of the local real estate sector, according to Argaams data.
