National Company for Learning & Education (NCLE) announced that it signed a land lease contract in Qurtubah district, Riyadh, with Abdullatif Al-Shaikh and Fahad Al Mushrif, to construct and operate Al Tarbiyah Al Namouthajiyah Schools complex.
According to a bourse filing, the land plot spans over an area of 13,200 square meters.
The contract value amounts to SAR 1.6 million annually, with an increase of 10% every five years, as the contract’s total value over its term is SAR 49.1 million, excluding value-added tax (VAT).
The statement noted that the contract is void in case of non-issuance of licenses to use the land as an educational complex by the concerned authorities within a period of six months from the contract’s signing date.
The contract term is 27 years, starting from licenses’ issuance date, in addition to a grace period of two years that does not entail any rental value.
The investment is part of NCLE’s strategy to expand and grow its student base.
The company aims to establish an educational complex to complement the services of current school in Qurtubah district, which is close to reaching its capacity and serves kindergarten and primary stages only.
NCLE expected that the financial impact of this contract to begin upon the project’s completion and operation, noting that it will announce any significant developments related to the lease contract and the project at the time.
