Social Development Bank offers SAR 6.7 bln loans year to date

The Social Development Bank (SDB) provided loans worth nearly SAR 6.73 billion to 97,848 individuals and enterprises during the first eight months of 2022, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

The freelance financing accounted for the highest percentage of the total loans with 50%, or nearly 48,991 loans, followed by individual financing (47,311 loans), business financing (1,472 loans) and cars financing (74 loans).

 

Riyadh came on the top in terms of the number of loans with 19,000, followed by Jeddah (7,000), then Makkah, Madinah, Jazan and Khamis Mushait (6,000 each), then Tabuk, Al-Ahsa and Buraidah (4,000) each.
