Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product (GDP) per capita reached its highest level in years at SAR 29,820 in Q2 2022, compared to SAR 20,620 a year earlier, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

 

Saudi GDP at current prices increased by 43% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.048 trillion in the second quarter of 2022. 

 

GDP is the final expenditure at buyers' prices, and includes government final consumption expenditure, private final consumption expenditure, gross capital formation, and net exports (exports minus imports).
