Saudi Arabia posts trade surplus of SAR 85.7 bln in July

Saudi Arabia posted a trade surplus of SAR 85.7 billion in July, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

 

The Kingdom’s total exports jumped 59% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 140.8 billion in July. Similarly, imports climbed 18% YoY to SAR 55.1 billion during the same period.

 

Oil exports saw a rise of 69% to SAR 114.2 billion in the same month. Non-oil exports also increased by 26% to SAR 26.7 billion.
