Trading floor at one of the GCC stock exchanges

The GCC stock markets witnessed declines during today’s (Sept. 25) early trading in line with the slump in the global markets, especially the US and a fall in oil prices over the weekend.

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), the largest regional benchmark, lost more than 300 points to reach below the 11,200 level in the early hours of trading.

Qatar Exchange Index, Kuwait Stock Exchange Index, Bahrain Bourse All Share Index and Oman’s MSX 30 Index reported early losses.

Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Market are closed today.
