PIF's Governor expects new airline to launch service in 2024

Yasser Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF)

Yasser Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), expected that the first flight of the fund's new airlines will begin in 2024, saying that the airline's aircraft fleet model will be limited to one or two at most, reported Arabic website thmanyah. 

 

The CEO of the new airline will start his work in a month, said Al-Rumayyan, adding that PIF has hired top executives from among the best in the world. 

 

He added that the success of the new airlines requires having one hub, which will be the case for the new airline.
