The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development called on all establishments to issue work regulations through its Qiwa platform, which aims to organize the establishments’ work environments, and reduce labor disputes.

The ministry indicated that the standard regulations are according to the unified model of the work organization, which do not require approvals and can be issued and approved "immediately" through the Qiwa platform, provided that the number of employees in the establishment is less than 50, state-owned Saudi Press Agency reported.

As for the customized regulations, the ministry clarified that they are binding on establishments employing 50 workers or more, adding that establishments may include additional terms and provisions, such as the system of bonuses, annual increases, violations or any other provisions, in a manner that does not conflict with the conditions of the Labor Law and its executive regulations.

Qiwa is an integrated unified platform that provides access to all the services of the labor sector, offering unified access, as well as speeds up procedures between establishments and workers in the private sector.
