Saudi Arabia's Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser said the ministry is working to inaugurate 59 logistic zones across the Kingdom to support the growth of supply chains and logistic services, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

During the opening speech of the annual Supply Chain and Logistics Conference, which is taking place in Riyadh from Oct. 16-17, Al-Jasser stated that these logistic zones will enable the Kingdom to play a regional and global role.

A total of 18 industrial zones were chosen to expand their business scope to become a logistical industrial hub that serves products’ arrival inside or outside the Kingdom, with high efficiency, he added.
