Saudi Electricity, Bahri sign MoU to collaborate on supply chain logistics

Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) and National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) signed today, Oct. 16, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the Supply Chain Conference held in Riyadh, according to an official statement.

 

The MoU will enhance bilateral cooperation in supply chain operations, while paving the way for greater supply chain sustainability and allowing for the provision of innovative logistics services. It will also further enable local content and enhance national industry capabilities, while setting the stage for promising investment opportunities and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, said Khalid Al-Ghamdi, Executive Vice President of Technical Services at SEC.

 

On the other hand, Soror Basalom, President of Bahri, said that the agreement reaffirms Bahri’s commitment to supporting SEC's efforts to better serve its growing customer base through their industry-leading logistics and warehouse management services. He added that Bahri looks forward to future joint collaborations that will help further their strategic investment and business development objectives.
