Minister of Commerce names Sami Al-Husseini as Governor of Monsha'at

Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Governor of Monsha'at


Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), Majid Al-Qasabi, issued a decision appointing Sami Al-Husseini as Governor of Monsha'at, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

In August, Al-Husseini was appointed as governor of Monsha’at. Earlier, he became Deputy Governor for Planning and Development at Monsha’at between 2019-2022. He held the positions of CEO and Executive Vice President of the Commercial Segment at Riyadh Airports Co. between 2018-2019 and 2017-2018, respectively.

 

Al-Husseini also held several leadership positions in the public and private sectors. This is besides obtaining an advanced diploma in leadership from IMD and a Bachelor’s degree in public relations from King Saud University, as well as a number of specialized and leadership certificates and several board memberships.

 

Monsha'at stated that it is working on developing the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurship sectors to create a promising environment that provides opportunities for prosperity by providing support services and business opportunities that bolster growth of this sector and enhance its competitiveness.
