Yanbu Cement completes scheduled periodic maintenance for fifth production line, starts on-site operation

Yanbu Cement Co. completed today, Oct. 24, the scheduled periodic maintenance for the fifth production line, in tandem with the start of on-site operation, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The impact of periodic maintenance was positively reflected on the plant’s performance efficiency and reliability, in line with the cement producer’s future operational plans.

It added that customer service and sales were not affected by this scheduled maintenance due to the availability of sufficient strategic stock.

On Sept. 29, Yanbu Cement announced its plan to carry out a planned shutdown of the fifth production line for the purpose of conducting scheduled periodic maintenance, noting that there is no fundamental financial impact on its earnings.
