Nazaha investigates 148 accused in criminal, administrative cases

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations last month (Rabi Al Awwal) against 148 individuals in administrative and criminal cases, after conducting 3,426 oversight visits.

Nazaha arrested 60 citizens and residents, some were later released on bail, for their involvement in bribery, abuse of power, money laundering and forgery, the authority said in a tweet.

It added that the accused are employees at the Ministries of Defense, Health, as well as Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing.

The authority urged everyone to report any financial or administrative corruption to protect and preserve the public funds.
