Saudi bank loans to public, private sectors rise 15% to SAR 2.385 trln in September

Saudi bank loans granted to public and private sectors grew 15% by the end of September to SAR 2.385 trillion, compared to SAR 2.077 trillion a year earlier, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also increased by 14% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.264 trillion for the same month.

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to public non-financial institutions grew 31% YoY to about SAR 120.2 billion by the end of September.
