Hassana Investment Co. (HIC), the investment arm of the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with US investment giant BlackRock to enhance and promote the latter’s Middle East infrastructure investment strategy.

The MoU signing was in the presence of Saudi Arabia's Minister of Finance and GOSI’s Chairman Mohammed Al-Jadaan and BlackRock’s CEO Larry Fink, along with several other senior officials, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

State-run HIC manages one of the largest investment portfolios, covering diversified types of assets in local and international markets. On the other hand, BlackRock is the world’s largest asset management firm, and a pioneer in environmental and investment governance of various investment assets.
