The privatization of Qassim Airport is moving on the right track and the National Center for Privatization (NCP) will offer it soon, said Rumaih Al-Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services.

He added that the public transportation project in Qassim, which was launched this year, will link Buraidah with Unaizah, noting that this will start as a basic project, and then expansions will follow.

The link between cities is progressing at a rapid pace, and concessions will be awarded soon to open and liberalize the transportation market between them.

During his participation in the Qassim Investment Forum, Al-Rumaih said the National Transport Strategy plays a key role in achieving the goals of various sectors in different fields, stressing that the ministry is working to launch 59 logistics zones in the Kingdom.
