Saudi Arabia ranks first by annual labor force growth rate

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's flag

Saudi Arabia ranked first in terms of annual labor force growth rate, outstripping other G20 nations between 2012-2021, a recent report issued by the National Labor Observatory (NLO) showed.

This report keeps track of the international indicators released by the International Labor Organization (ILO). This is besides an array of main labor indicators for the Kingdom, which includes the annual labor force growth rate, the labor force participation rate, the employment and unemployment rates, in addition to statistics on people neither in employment, education or training (NEET).

The NLO provides a set of services and products specialized in the labor market, based on comprehensive and accurate data that enables anticipating the future of the labor market, evaluating policies and programs and measuring their impact. This is together with supporting decision-makers and policymakers in a way that enhances the observatory’s vision to be the main and reliable source of labor market data and visuals.
