Tihama says court accepts appeal on rejecting lawsuit against Riyadh Municipality

Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. received a letter from its lawyer stating that the Administrative Court of Appeal in Riyadh, on Dec. 6, accepted the company's appeal against a ruling by the Riyadh Administrative Court that rejected Tihama’s lawsuit against the city municipality.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, Tihama said the decision also canceled the ruling issued by the Riyadh Administrative Court.

 

After the verdict deed, which is scheduled on Dec. 21, and in coordination with the lawyer, the company will study the verdict and its reasons, and determine the next steps.

 

The company will announce any material developments in this regard.

 

In March 2022, Tihama filed an appeal against the court verdict rejecting the company's lawsuit against Riyadh Municipality, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

In September 2021, Tihama filed a legal claim before the Administrative Court against Riyadh Municipality, claiming a compensation of SAR 15.6 million and 10% of the attorney fees. It also claimed compensation for the damage caused to its advertising billboards by the municipality.

 

In February 2021, Tihama said the Administrative Court in Riyadh dismissed the company's legal claim filed against Riyadh Municipality.
