Non-institutional weekly foreign ownership excluding Aramco retreats to 10.52%

Non-institutional foreign investors decreased their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, to 10.52%, or SAR 283.16 billion, in the week ended Dec. 8, from 10.55% in the week before, market data showed.

 

The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).

 

 

 

GCC investors' ownership in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, inched down to 1.75% of total market cap, or SAR 47.1 billion in the week ended Dec. 8, from 1.76% in the week before.

 

 

 

Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, dropped from 12.39% to 12.33%, or SAR 331.88 billion, for the week ended Dec. 8.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.81%, or SAR 48.7 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the same week.
