SABB shareholders elect board members for new term

Shareholders of Saudi British Bank (SABB) approved, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on Dec. 21, electing members of the board of directors for the upcoming term, starting Jan.1 to Dec. 31, 2025.

 

The new board includes Lubna Olayan, Mohammed Alomran, Saad Al-Fadhli (as a representative of the General Organization for Social Insurance), Ahmed Al-Aulaqi, Sulaiman AlGwaiz, Martin Powell, Stuart Gulliver, and Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj.  

 

In a statement to Tadawul, SABB pointed out that the new board of directors will be constituted by the above mentioned members, in addition to Stephen Moss, Samir Assaf, and Tony Cripps, the representatives of the foreign partner Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Holding Company “B.V", who were appointed by the company as per Article (17) of  the Bank's Articles of Association.

 

The shareholders also approved the formation of the audit committee and defined its tasks, rules of work and remuneration of its members for the new three-year term.

 

The audit committee included, Martin Powell, Andrew Jackson, Amr K. Kurdi and Abdullah bin Jaber Al-Fifi, the statement added.
