Turkey calls on Saudi investors to tap Turkish capital markets

Nureddin Nebati, Turkish Finance Minister

Turkish Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati called on Saudi investors to tap opportunities in Turkey’s capital markets, like other international counterparts, Anadolu Agency reported.

Nebati stated that trade exchange volume between Saudi Arabia and Turkey reached $4.3 billion during the first 10 months of 2022 from $3.7 billion in 2021.

Last October, Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid Alkassabi said the Public Investment Fund (PIF) is studying investment opportunities in Turkey, according to data compiled by Argaam.

Alkassabi added that private investments between $4-$5 billion are eyed in Turkey, stressing that the Kingdom’s investments in Turkey currently stand at $18 billion.
