Nazaha investigates 437 defendants in criminal, administrative cases; arrests 170 others in Jumada I

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations with 437 defendants in some administrative and criminal cases during Jumada I.

 

Nazaha conducted 2,426 oversight visits, arresting 170 persons, including employees at the Ministries of Commerce, Interior, Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), Health, Justice, Municipal, Rural Affairs & Housing and Education on their involvement in bribery, power abuse, money laundering and forgery.

 

Any suspicions of financial or administrative corruption should be reported to the authority in order to protect and preserve public money, it added.
