Keir International Co. signed today, Dec. 26, a contract worth SAR 16.6 million, including the value-added tax, with the Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) to connect the authority’s ports to the fiber-optic network.
According to a Tadawul statement, the contract includes external and internal network works.
The project aims to connect 10 ports of MAWANI with the fiber-optic network and internal network works, including Riyadh Port, Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, Yanbu Commercial Port, King Fahd Industrial Port in Jubail, Jubail Commercial Port, Duba Port, Jazan Port, and Ras Al-Khair Port.
The financial impact will reflect on the company's results during the contract period and until the first half of 2023.
The deal does not have related parties, the statement noted.
