Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. signed, on Jan. 2, a contract with Saudi Dairy and Foodstuff Co. (SADAFCO) at a value of SAR 11.85 million.

Under the contract, Wafrah will manufacture frozen French fries as private label under SADAFCO’s trade name, as per the technical specifications spelled out in the contract. In addition, Wafrah will be sourcing the raw materials and packaging materials necessary for the production, Wafrah said in a statement on Tadawul.

The contract has a term of six months, the company added, expecting increased revenue during the contract period.

Recently, Tabuk Agricultural Development Co. (TADCO) signed a contract with Wafrah to supply the latter with its processed potato product, at a value of SAR 14.03 million (exclusive of logistics costs and VAT), Argaam reported earlier.
