Nomu-listed Canadian Medical Center (CMCER) announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Waddah Muhammed Al-Ammar, for personal reasons, effective Jan. 10.
Al-Ammar’s resignation was approved by the board of directors on Jan. 10, CMCER said in a statement to Tadawul.
The board also approved the appointment of Hasan Joudah as CEO, effective today, Jan. 11.
Joudah holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Almeda University in Idaho, US; and a Bachelor's degree in English from University of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He has held several leadership positions in a number of companies, along with several positions within CMCER, including Chief Operating Officer.
In a separate statement, CMCER said Al-Ammar also resigned from his board member position. The company will appoint an alternative board member later.
